MODELLING OF HORIZONTAL DRILL STRING MOTION BY THE LUMPED-PARAMETER METHOD

The motion of drill strings is modeled in the drilling geotechnological wells mining industry by Lumped-Parameter Method (LPM). This method widely used structural mechanics and most justified modeling dynamic systems with a variable structure. On example horizontal wells, longitudinal vibrations string static compressive load at left end are considered [1]. contact interaction borehole walls inertia force bit on destructible rock right taken into account. analysis column splits number, which specifies dimension system discrete equations, carried out verifying obtained results previously known data For verification, developed C# software was used, allowed to determine error comparison test data. optimal number terms "implementation time - calculation error" LPM identified. numerical implementation model conducted fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. In connection increase program code due system, algorithm optimized using parallel programming tools. expediency this optimization analyzed.
